Quetico 5. Contents.
Part 1. Quetico PP. Access via Cache Bay.
Part 2. Quetico PP. Float-plane access to the east part.
Part 3. Quetico region to the east of Quetico PP.

Part 1. Cache Bay access.

Cache Bay. Information.
Paddlers entering Quetico PP at the Cache Bay Ranger Station almost invariably do so from the Gunflint Trail in the US. Most parties start from the BWCWA entry point on Saganaga Lake but Seagull Lake (entry point 54) is also used. Some parties paddle to Cache Bay on Saganaga Lake but most proceed by “tow” (water taxi with boats carried on racks) to Hook Island (the hook-shaped island west of Baird Island) and then paddle past Cache Point to Cache Bay.
