I'm heading into Noganosh for the first time this Thursday for four days. Just me the dog and my fishing rod. I see there'e a lodge on Smokey so thats a bit of a turn off. Is Smokey fine or should we head into Noganosh (or somewhere else). Looking for piece and quiet, maybe a fish or two and a rock to swim off of. |

Just paddle thru to Nog and find a site----there are quite a few. Sites were posted on here some time ago |

Thxs Wotrock...I'll look for past post, but if I can find a site with decent water access (preferable some rock(s) for my dog to swim off of) I'm G2G. Biggest concern is the lodge and boat traffic ![]() |

there was zero lodge activity last we were there in July 2 years ago. boat traffic is very light especially the deeper you get |

Hi there, I'm heading up to Nog this weekend as well. I normally rent from Grundy Supply, but they might be out. Anyone have any rental reccos close by? I'm coming from the south (69 to 522) putting in at Ess Narrows. Thanks! Natasha |

Hi Natasha ... just got back from there. You could rent from Harris Marina, it's a little out of the way though. I believe there's an outfitter in Noble or somewhere close to Parry Sound as well. FYI >>>> Mossy's were out at night & morning but very few, HOWEVER the deer flies are nuts LOL. High winds kept them at bay, but just a heads up so your not shocked. Enjoy |

Thanks, Wilsauceez! Good know, deer flies can be vicious. Checking out White Squall near Nobel. Will report back. Thanks! |
