Post subject:  Road and bridge across the Albany River

I heard there's a group of hunters this week at Caviar Lake, a widening of the Albany below Teabeau Lake, and they can't hunt because there's too many helicopters and survey crew guys all over the place.

It looks like the bridge will be at the E end of Caviar Lake.

I was hoping this road was never going to happen but it looks like it's happening.

Does anybody have a link to a site or information on what's going on with the road/ bridge? Is this stuff being done secretively?

I am wondering if this is part of the Ring of Fire development. The Doug Ford government is determined to have have shovels in the ground by late winter-early spring on a new road to the Ring of Fire.

I'm a day late and a dollar short on this post, but it does indeed look like the Ring of Fire development is building access across the Albany. Had been thinking about a trip through there in 2020 or 2021.

The bridge is not for a road, but rather Rail, assuming I am reading this right:

(hope that link worked.)
