Help with info on shuttling canoeists (Shuttle Service) from end of trip back to car.

In "A Paddler's Guide To The Rivers of Ontario and Quebec" Kevin Callan talks about there being such a shuttle service to get a guy back to his/her car after doing a canoe trip along the Rideau. What areas are covered, cost, etc.

I googled CDN Recreational Canoeing Association as per the book and it brought me here to MyCCR.

Am I in the right place here to ask about the shuttle service Kevin talks about in his guide book? (pub/n date was 2003, and I had to wait a month to get it via Chapters/Indigo)

Thanks again, and thanks to all those folks for helping me find a decent canoe after all that searching.

Cheers!

Gary

Where are you hoping to get a shuttle to and from? This is isn't a shuttle service provider board, but someone may be able to help if you give us some more details.

Hi Rab,

Smith's Falls to Beckett's Landing as in the guide.

I'm only here at MyCCR because the CDN Recreational Canoe Association link/reference from Kevin Callan's book/guide from google sent me here.

I'm searching blind it seems as maybe the CRCA (from the Callan guide) may not exist any longer..

Thanks for the answer. See what happens,

cheers!

Gary
