Post subject:  Sucker River, east and north of Cochrane, ON

Me and a friend have been planning a canoe trip, and we have been looking at the Sucker River, a tributary to the Abitibi river, either from where it crosses the 652 (Detour Gold Mine) Highway, or a road that crosses it again a few miles north, and taking it right down to the confluence of the Abitibi.

It maps out around 50 to 65 km depending on details, and wondering if anyone out there has either done the trip or heard anything about the river in general.
Likely would be a late may early june trip... weather depending.
