I have been asked to compile a list of all the Paddle Clubs in Ontario, including the name and email of a contact (or at least start me off with a website). This list will assist the Get Kids Paddling organization.

I would also like to collect the same outside of Ontario, so please specify.

Also, it looks like many organizations and businesses will have a battle on their hands regarding getting insurance that does not exclude COVID-19, and I suspect we will need to provide a unified front to request assistance from the Government to put pressure on the insurance companies do so.

Post, email or PM, please.
Thank you for any an all help.

I already have the information for ORCKA and Barrie Canoe and Kayak

Whitewater Ontario has a list of clubs
https://www.whitewaterontario.ca

And Canoe Kayak Canada has a whole list of multi sports
WW, Marathon, Sprint
Almost all sprint clubs have kids and rec programs
https://canoekayak.ca/go-paddling/
https://canoekayak.ca/sprint-community-stream/
They used to have a club list but can not seem to find it.
Contact them and they should be able to give you a list
http://www.ckosprint.ca/join-a-club.html
Also many of the sprint clubs also have programs for the handicapped.
Jeff

Edit ps
I am guessing Paddle Canada also would have a list of Ontario based organizations.

Cheryl,

As you indicated you'd like to collect info for outside Ontario too, start with Paddle Alberta por AB paddle clubs.
https://paddlealberta.org/paddling-educ ... nizations/

I can personally speak to the efforts that Ceyana Canoe Club in Edmonton and the Canadian Voyageur Brigade Society have put into getting kids into boats and also training teachers to paddle big canoes.

Cheryl I saw you are having some issues with the messagings system.
I actually get a fair number of requests for Paracanoe info,
Not necessarily for the racing aspect but for rec use.
It would be worth special noting the clubs that have Paracanoe programs as their network around the globe is actually prety amazing in coming up with ways people can still paddle.

You might want to post this outside of the Ontario section.

Nationally, Paddle Canada, http://www.paddlingcanada.com/

In Manitoba,
Paddle Manitoba, http://www.paddle.mb.ca/
Manitoba Whitewater Club, http://www.manitobawhitewaterclub.ca
