View topic - The Sharpe's Take on Quetico (Hunter Island Loop) - Part 3

For Part Three we paddle from the Maligne River to Rebecca Falls during the solar eclipse. From Rebecca Falls we finally reach the boundary waters of Minnesota and Ontario. I push my limits even further as we portage around falls, more rapids and clock in some insane 30+ km days.

We don't get lost on Crooked Lake and finally reach Basswood Lake. Those two are officially the biggest lakes I've ever paddled.

Nice write up and pictures. It's morning, but now I feel hungry for some fried fish. I'll keep an eye out for the video/videos.

Thank you so much for the comment, GRS Riverrider. Fried fish was soo good! It had been many years since I had done a fish fry. I used to fish for pickerel a lot with my dad, but as I got older gave up fishing for many years. Now all I want to catch are pickerel.
