Last August, my father and I did a 6-day loop starting a Penage Bay Marina through Bassoon, Bear, Fish, Great Mountain, David, and Harry Lakes with a quick peek up at the Silhouette Trail. Great trip. If you are going to try those lakes, check out my trip report at:

I enjoyed reading your trip report, Canoe Daddy. The Panache area north of Killarney has always been a mystery to me, just big water bodies on a map with barely any detail. I confess to having a soft spot for father-son narratives. My two sons just indulged me today by joining me for a paddle at our local reservoir for an every-man-in-his-own-cedar/canvas boat special occasion: Fathers' Day. Made me feel very fortunate.
