I'm planning a trip beginning on the South MacMillan River and Ending at Dawson. The only online trip report I've been able to find for the MacMillan river is in German and online translation services have been inadequate for translating it. Any leads on other online reports? The only fish information I've been able to find indicates that grayling are plentiful in this system, but I haven't found references to any other species.
Estimates for completing the MacMillan range from 8 days on the Rivers North website to the 18 days the Germans took. I don't want to spend more than 15 days on that leg of the trip but am not sure if that sets a reasonable pace.
Any info on particulary good hiking spots along the trip would also be appreciated.

thanks
kootny

Rivers of the Yukon has a couple pages on the south Macmillan . It has the trip as 10 to 14 days . This book is written by Ken Madsen
