I'm heading to the Kazan River, Kasba to Angikuni. I have some information and don't mind finding my own way, but if there is something in particular that I should know, beware of, or should not wish I'd appreciate your input. I'm thinking along the lines for example of Inuit or historical sites that might be missed if I'm following the opposite shore.

The site of the former weather station and of the lodge, near the outlet of Ennadai, may be worth exploring. This may be site referred to by Harper, Steenhoven and the Tammarniit authors.

Thanks Allan, I already have one request for current photos of the old weather station. If the weather and winds permit, we also take the opportunity to walk around.

I neglected to mention that J B Tyrrell provides rough locations for several Inuit sites.
Also, Stewart Coffin's Kazan report (soon to be posted in Routes) mentions several sites.
Regards, Allan
