Learnt a new way of guiding style well....new to me. "Guiding The British Invasion" by Becky Mason excerpt ....At first I was curious to see how Ray did things and was anxious to follow his lead, but after a day or so I quickly realized that this was unlike any guided trip I had ever taken part in. Of course we were teaching our clients, but it wasn't as much teaching as it was experiential learning. I was astonished..." http://www.northernontario.travel/outdo ... ecky-mason

Use to do it on weekend trips.
But i would have a hard time considering this without some basic lead up paddle skills and bush skills for a trip like this.
As you said rare students.
But sometimes it is much easier when they know they need to listen & develop skills so they can truly enjoy the trip.
And not having access to anything like this would be a great inspiration to do just that.
And I would have some reservations on any serious ww.
