I don't think there's any issue with going camping right now other than a beyond slight risk of getting a fine, but aren't we all going to be camping again imminently? Marinas are phasing in as of Monday so people can more easily go fishing in powerboats, indeed fishing itself as an activity was never shut down in the first place even though well in excess of 99% of fisherfolk would need to take an non-essential-trip-by-motor-vehicle to get to the glory hole. What on earth could the problem with not-fishing as a back-country activity possibly be, The May 31st position isn't tenable.

We should get an announcement from Ford this week for Ontario. He made it sound promising.

I been doing bi weekly fishing trips since ice went out here in Peterborough County , am I selfish , don't know don't care ,people are welcome to their 2 cents worth .
Talking to my nurse neighbor , she said they had 1 patient with Wuhan Flu in a 600 bed hospital .
I refuse to cower in my basement and be ruled by fear .

I just plan like any other spring cold water trip , stay close to shore , dry bag with change of clothes and sleeping bag . If winds are too bad just stay home.

The only downside is I can't stay overnight , but it's only a 45-60 minute drive from home

I can't believe this discussion is still going on with people trying to justify the risk of going out. its not about if it is a low risk drive, easy paddle or what ever. The fact is anything that is over and above staying home, however small is still increasing the risk.

I'll stay home when Trudeau stops going to the cottage

The bit about the bathrooms is just asking people to substitute their own common sense here. If the Ford admin wants people to follow some rather arbitrary guidelines, there's just got to be some kind of basic thought process that extends from a, to at least b if not c. Here, we seem to have failed to get to b.
