Dave, you'll have to fight me for first!

Not really Nancy. I live close by. The ink will just be getting dry on my copy.

I'm off this Thursday. Maybe we can do the home town tour and coffee stop then?

Better for me in the AM. Got a Temagami pre-trip planning meeting that afternoon.

I'll send you an email today or tomorrow.

As for getting the first, second or third copy, it doesn't matter. I just need one for the recipes to make my heavy food pack worth carrying. I'm mean really, you can only eat so much hamburger stew right?

Dave

okay I've started an email list for people who want signed copies.... send a note to wildernesscook@outdooradventurecanada.com if you want to be included (this way I know how many books I need to order from my publisher).

ps Carbritkye - Tripper took Tobias and I out for coffee this morning! (just bugging you).

Laurie, congrats on getting your book this far. As you likely know by now, I have sent you an email and requested a signed copy from you. I would so much rather buy straight from you than from a reseller like Amazon.

Lookin' forward to more yummy back country eating. :)

that is sweet - thanks - I'm a bit behind on emails for the book because the response has been overwhelming

I finally got to see the stylesheets for the recipe layouts last week which is kinda of neat - and it has been confirmed that there will be color photos in the book as well - they've had me add a couple sections so it will also be larger than what Amazon lists for page numbers

8) I really owe a lot of you here my thanks because of the support and encouragement when I thought this was never going to come to fruition - it has been an interesting journey to say the least - I swore back in April I would never write another cookbook again - lol - I might have changed my mind - I've started another one

remind me to give you some as prizes for the 2008 event Nancy!

next one - well it's in the works - but will most likely be 2 years if and when it hits the shelves

anyway - today was a big day - all of the text and appendices were finalized by the publisher - now we go into the design phase, then indexing and print... woo hoo
