Where have I been?!?!.......

Here I live in NW Ontario and only just recently discovered possibly the world's best BBQ sauce:
"Buster's Blueberry BBQ Sauce"!

It was invented in Vermillion Bay, just west of Dryden, on the Trans Canada, and Buster's Restaurant is still there, serving up the blueberry BBQ goodness and selling its award winning sauce! Man this sauce is good stuff! I have the original blueberry and its labeled "mild", but it has a tangy bite to it. And WARNING its ADDICTIVE! :D I am putting it on everything I am BBQ'ing, and on my eggs in the morning.

Its available online, fairly expensive with shipping:
But I am guessing if you are addicted already, this will be worth it, and certainly for special gifts.

But its also available in many retailers in northern Ontario and the US Midwest, retailers list here:
I found it in Thunder Bay at the Maltese selling for $6.19, and I bought 3 bottles today. If you are touring this way for a canoe trip, there may be many retailers along your way.

Once opened, I don't know how long it lasts without refrigeration? I am going try dehydrating some for my tripping food recipes and see how it works. I figure it will be spectacular on my scrambled OvaEasy eggs in the morning over the campfire, and on fish. And it having a blueberry base, its just going to make me fell better as I travel through the land of blueberries in my northern Canadian landscape!

So far I have only tried the original blueberry mild. I am not into hot sauces, but for those who are they also sell a hotter chipotle and habanero, and well as seasoning mixes.

By far the best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. Check it out!

Thanks for the tip.

Doesn't seem to have made it over the border into Manitoba.

I can see a new career opening up as BBQ sauce runner, smuggling the good stuff to the law abiding folks of Steinbach...
