My son is driving me crazy!! I promised him we would do a winter camp/icefishing trip for a weekend. I've been looking at the crownland maps and lakes in the area, but my problem is finding a place to park and trails to lakes. can anyone offer any info for us? pm me if necessary

Lake Nipissing should be good for some pike and maybe walleye... there is a non-operating park at the west end. No formal campsites but finding a place in the bush might be possible... contact and access info.

Temagami will have crown land camping and ice fishing, maybe best to find out from www.ottertooth.com where the best places are.... good luck.

Take the Budd Car north, and get off pretty much anywhere. Best have a fairly open schedule, however.
