Hello Paddlers,

I have been enjoying the Che-Mun publication for sometime and over the years I have mentioned it or drawn attention to it from time to time.

Well, once again it is that time. Most recently, Michael Peake, the paddler behind Che-Mun, stated that Che-Mun is seeking more subscribers. Please consider. I apologize to those who are already subscribers.

It's a first journal that often includes updates from various paddlers, a canoesworthy section, featured stories, book reviews, and most recently wonderful colour images. Back in 2007, I wrote Prince of the Barrenland for Che-Mun outfit 129.

From its website:
Since first founded in 1973 by Nick Nickels and purchased in 1984 by Michael Peake, Che-Mun has been dispensing information to a generation of northern wilderness canoeists. Published quarterly, now in a full colour print version, or available electronically as an emailed PDF, we continue to inform and entertain our readers from across North America and Europe.

For more information:

Annual subscription rates are reasonable and include print or pdf options.
