First video post here, but I thought I'd do it because of the area. I've looked at this loop for years but shy'd away because of potential crowds (ie Hwy 60).
Ended up going in Sept and glad we did. The route has paddling, portaging, great campsites etc etc seems to have it all. You could do the loop in 2 days or spent 5 days or more (some of the lakes and sites are very nice).
And like I mentioned, going later in the year helps with the sense of remoteness
