I'm planning a trip to Blueberry Lake July 19-22. The plan is to start from Snake Island/Cassels Lake, head straight to Blueberry, spend 2 nights there to be able to explore the trails and stuff, then head down to spend a third night on Sunrise Lake probably towards the south, and then return via Rabbit. Seems pretty leisurely distance-wise.
I'm just interested in any recent info about portage and hiking trail conditions, and campsite advice.
In particular, two years ago I was planning to do this loop but cancelled last minute, however in the planning of it I talked to a couple of local outfitters. I heard that there's a beaver dam flooding the middle of, I think it was, the Blueberry-Tucker portage. One said you can just paddle through the pond, the other recommended avoiding Tucker Lake altogether by instead heading from Blueberry down through Telford to Chick Lake, and from there following a logging road to Sunrise. Anyone have advice in that regard?

Dan, I'd suggest you put this question on Ottertooth forum.
