Great videos Jonathan. I appreciate how generally raw you tend to be. I'm not an angler, but I've become a fan of your videos... even if the GoPro is giving you grief! And the Trout are gorgeous.

Hahah thanks a lot BeechDriver! Definitely some brook trout to be had in the upper Little Pic. In the lower, you never know what you'll get, given the connection to Superior.

I watched part two last night Jonathan, both were great! I have been studying your map and some others and I am leaning heavily towards giving this run a shot next year and clear those portages some more. I will go with a friend so hopefully the extra labour will make quicker work of your portages, I just hope I can identify the path that you blazed this time to save blazing a new one. Awaiting your next Vid. Hope Erin passed her exam.

Thanks CaptainCDN!! Hope you do. If you download the Avenza Maps app (free) and use the map on there, you can follow my trails using your GPS location. If not, I think you'll still be able to track them, but might temporarily lose them at 90-degree turns, open clearings, blowdown, etc.
Just keep in mind that Biigtigong Nishnaabeg FN plans to clear the river next summer so if you can time it after that, you'll probably be glad you did. There's a group on FB called Greenstone and Area Canoe Routes (Rob Haslam who posted in this thread started it and filled it with tons of great info) and that should be a good place to get updates on the progress.
